The paxton/vortech superchargers for the 5.2 and 5.9 should fit on a 3.9 with little modification. I know others on this board have done this. Hopefully they can give you some information.

If you're gonna put on a supercharger, you could really make good use of some crower 1.7 roller rockers and a larger throttle body like a fastman, f&b, or v8 tb.

turbos are a no go. Unless you have a good welder and pipe bender as well as a good imagination and incredible mechanical ablities stay away from the turbo unless you just have loads of money sitting around that you want to get rid of to have it done by a pro in which case you should donate some money to me

Whats so bad about a turbo i figured itd probably be cheaper to put on a turbo instead of a supercharger, i was looking at totally rebuilt turbos for $500, id like a supercharger though. all i have done is exhaust and a jet performance chip

the actual turbo itself is cheap... but the fabrication for the manifold(s) and crossover pipe and such would be the expensive part.

swap that v6 for v8 4.7.
go beat 94 mustang.
save $2500!
or make half payment on 5.7 HEMI swap with $3000.
go beat mustang, owe $3000 more.
get real, $3000 just to beat mustang?

yeah?
like putting a turbo on the v6 is a one minute bolt on, not, and the swap is much easier to do on any given weekend your not driving to work.
Plus with that kind of green rent a wreck for the time it takes to do the swap.
then go beat mustang and bank the savings.
