I would be curious, also. I have a 97 3.9, that I plan to replace with a new 2001 sitting blue bagged and ready to go. I got it complete to the airhat.---I would like to keep as many of the new parts as possible. I noticed the new fuel injectors are red where mine are black. I was reading that you can upgrade to the red, in the 97 by buying a pigtail? Someone was selling the injectors on ebay and mentioned the upgrade.

I too would like to know...how much of the new stuff can I use, or do I strip it down to the intake, and have my 97 intake beaded and re-use it on the 2001 motor, and put on my headers, and new valve covers...hopefully the sensors will be the same, although in diffrent places. On my 97, the pcv is on the right valve cover, while on the 2001 it is on the left. Other than position changes (pcv, temp sensor, breather) will the sensors, injectors, etc. work?

Far as I know the engine is a swap, will have to use your original tb and sensors.

The tranny is a whole different story.
The computer controls alot more in the later model Daks.
If you have an A500 in your 95 than the 00 will not work right off the bat, may be something you can do to get it to work but I doubt it.
If you have a 42 or 44re in your 95 then theres a better chance.
