alright, i just put on dual flows 2 months ago. Now i am hearing a rattle, sounds like metal on metal from what appears to be the exhaust. It used to be during certain rpm levels but nowi can hear it more often. Is this symptoms of a CAT goin bad? I just got the muffer and new pipes -- does anyone have any idea of what i am talking about?

any suggestions is appreciated

I have the same problem. I just bought a factory cat for mine. I might actually end up selling the cat because I am selling the truck and there is a guy who might buy it in NV who is going to take it off anyway so I might have one for sale in about a week.

Crawl underneath and bang on the exhaust and see what rattles, could be just a loose heatshield.

it is deffinately the cat. i had the problem on both my '94 3.9 and also my current '99 3.9. once i had the old cat off and a new one on(my '99 anyway, i put straight pipe on the 94 to replace the cat, and it ran better than before.) my truck ran just fine and made no more noises.
