I just got a used '98 SLT Club Cab with a 3.9L. What I'm trying to find out I know is simple, but I must be missing something. How do you determine what the rear axle ratio is on the truck. I have nothing in the info that came with the truck, and I'm trying to find out how much of a trailer I can tow with it.

Inside your glove box there should be a paper attached to it somewere. On that paper it gives the low down on your vehicle and it should say on there what it is.
