I just got my flowmaster 40 series cat-back system installed today. I love it, it sounds so much better. lol when i drove home people would just stare right at my exhaust when i would go by them. it is the single out not fake dual. I did that because the guy at pro exhaust told me i would lose power by putting on dual outlet so I went with the single. here is my truck now with little mods. Can u think of anything i could do that would help with my next paycheck of $600?

I would go with an Intense Performance Stage III intake and an F&B Throttle Body for your next mods. Headers would be next after these. I sell all of these on my website check it out.

Do you really want to make it lighter??? I think you'll come out losing by trying to lighten a 4x4. However since you do have a lot of extra weight on the 3.9 I would recommend putting the emphasis on low end torque. From 1500-3000rpm is where you would want more power. Like when going through some mud wouldn't bog you down. I would try to get a chip or programmer(whichever they make), the headers would help, and how about some gears if you really want to feel something, but of course your gas mileage will drop, but hey you're getting what -15mpg anyways.

I thought with headers you lose low-end torque but gain high-end?
