 Subject: Check Engine Light On....y?

I washed the truck today (Under the hood too), and now the check engine light is on.
All the gauges are reading normal, and it seems to be running fine. The fluids are all fine, so why the hell is this thing on?
Anyone have any ideas?

either you got water on some electric device or...the code was spawned by something other than washing the car and engine. I've washed my engine 3 times now and never had the light come on. cover the battery teminals, PCM, and any other open electrical connections and you should be good.

Make sure your gas cap is on tight. Computers need it to be tight to get a valid reading.
