3.21 - more gas milage, slower moving
3.55 - suposivaly the best of both worlds
3.91 - not as good gas milage, fastest stock gear
4.10 - drinks gas, fast gear, revs really high on highway
it goes pretty much like that. Correct me if i'm wrong.

how do i find my gear ratio's if im in drive 2 or of overdrive on the freeway it rev's really really loud. I have a 98magnum v6 3.9

George,
Look inside your your glovebox. It should be written on a card on the inside of the door. Theres also a sticker around the axle behind the rear left wheel. But you have a '98. I don't know if they marked them that way then. If they did, I also doubt the sticker would still be there after 5 years.

the late model 3.9's come stock with 3.55's

yeah, and its 3.92.
The 5 speed manuals usually came with the small 3.21's.
