Subject: Home Brew Air Intake help

Message:
I'm installing an air intake from using the suggestions on this bored, but I've run into a small problem. The information I got said to attach a 3" abs coupling, to a KNN-RE-0810 air filter, but the problem I'm having is the coupling is just a little bigger than the air filter, so is doesn't fit snug. So my question is, how can I make this fit? Can I glue it? If so, what type of glue? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

For the couppling I would guess the easyist thing to use would be a 3 inch rubber cuppling and 2 hose clamps. if it still doesnt fit try wrapping the part of the air filter in ducktape. Ducktape can fix anything. Or you could go the cheap and easy way like I did and just got an open air breather.

Advance Auto parts, Its a Mr. Gasket and it came with the following: Gaskets (of course), paper air filter, aluminum top and bottem, it had a punch for where to put the addapter for the pcv hose, and all the nessecery hardwear. The one extra thing that you may need to buy is some sort of silicone sealant for the pcv adapter, one of my buddies had the stuff. If you need any more info just ask here or email me at dakmopardoge@yahoo.com
