I have one in my other truck, i like it, shifts much firmer now. I installed it myself in about 2 hours. I'm a professional mechanic but i don't think it would be too hard a non-mechanic to install, you just have to follow the directions to the letter and keep track of what bolts go where because there are about 14 valvebody bolts and they are 6 different lengths. Theres also a few check balls that have to be put in the right spot in the valvebody.
