Im wanting to upgrade to either a superturbo dyno or the 50 series flowmaster. does anyone know which would have a quieter tone ? The shop up the street says they have 40 series in stock . thier special is 120.00 installed with a 40 flowmaster. Isnt that the loudest?

I have a Magnaflow 3" in dual 2 1/4" out on a 92 V6. Sounds almost stock. Alittle gumblier. Gives a nice little BBBRRT!! when it starts cold in the morning then smooths out to a more stock sound. But then the 92's are a little noisier than other Daks. I heard a newer Dak V6 that sounded like a V8. Not sure what muffler he had but it sounded good.

I have a Dnyomax cat back exhaust, not sure of the number or anything.
I agree with you, dynomax gives you nice sound in the lower range but once you get past 2000rpms or so, it quites down.
if you are looking for loud I would go flowmaster, they sound nice.
