hi i have a dak sport 1988 3.9 v6 auto. I was wondering where i could find a manifold for it either a 4 bbl or muilti port system like edelbrock has but for my truck anyone know? i can only seem to find them for v8's what about us 6's.

Been talked about many times.
Mopar used to make a 4bbl intake for V6 3.9 but it was disco'd years ago.
I have heard that there are a few sitting in depots but after extensive searching I cant locate any.
Do a deep search on this site, I posted the actual part number.

thats cause if I was a bettin man I'd bet you were under say 30 years old. Been almost 22 years since detroit put a carb on a new engine , a few foriegn ones went a few years longer but most of you youngins never seen a carb on a car/ truck that was new.

Hey, I'm under 30, and I know what it is. But I spent most of my childhood under a hood next to my father, who is a 30+ year mechanic. Taught me everything I know, which is roughly 1/4 of what he knows.

just me, that's really not fair to the younger generation. I'm 26, and I know a hell of a lot about 4bbl's. In fact I have a 850 dominator that flows 1080cfm on my 69 coranet r/t. I think you should give the younger generation a lot more credit. Some of us are extremely interested in what mother mopar puts out. After all it was a lot easier to make horse power back prior to us youngins.

I know a company called hughesengines makes an intake for the V-6ers. And I think KRC does also but they are for the Gen II and III's with TBI.
Wouldn't want any other!

you mean SMPI??
and they dont make one... just modify the stock one (shorten runners, fill plenum, shorten plenum divider)... or at least thats all i have seen on their sites
