I have a 99 dodge dakota ext cab with the v6 3.9 liter engine. i would like to know how i could get more horsepower out of it? I am going to buy a jetchip but i am still trying to find out how much horsepower that will add. I just want to buy things that will give me more horsepower so if any one knows what i can get please let me know. thanks

thanks you guys. The one website www.speedtweaks.com is not up right now so i will check it later. I hope i can get around 50 to 100 more horsepower out of my truck with the help of these replys. thanks.

I think that the only way you can get 50-100 more horsepower is a supercharger unless you want to take apart the whole engine and rework it completely...

you might get 20-25 from all the mods combined, and thats everything big like throttle body, intake, roller rockers, headers, exhaust. if you want that much horse you would be better throwing a small block in there!!

are you talking about roller rockers? the daks now come with them since the Magnums came out!

The Magnum engines have roller lifters but not roller rockers
