I need some help. I have a 1992 Dakota with the 3.9 and it dosen't have any spark.

I have change the computer, crank sensor, pick up module and still nothing. Truck was running fine and the next day it wouldn't start at all.

This is driving me crazy.

I'll second Monkey Man. Pull the coil wire from the cap and see if you have spark there. No spark=shot coil. Also make sure your rotor isnt damaged. I had a brand new one just come apart on me about 100 miles after installing it. Good luck.

Also just pull the distributor cap and then have someone crank the motor. If the rotor doesn't turn you have a big problem. The timing chain, cam or distributor shaft is broken. A friend had the timing chain break on him when he tried to start it one morning. No big sound or nothing, just wouldn't start. When we finally got to checking things, the rotor didn't spin when the engine was being turned over. Boy was he bummed. But a timing chain was an easy fix.
