 Subject: 3.9 and Jeep 4.0

OK....silly question maybe.....
What is the difference between a Dodge 3.9 and a Jeep 4.0? I know they are both made by Dodge. Are there any parts off the Jeep 4.0 that can be used on the 3.9 for more performance or power? I am just curious and if anyone can help...let us know.

a jeep engine is an inline 6 whereas a dodge engine is a v6

The 4.0 is an inline six based on the older AMC 4.2 design. Has 190 Hp and 230 ft/tq i believe.
