I'm in MD but i'm willing to drive a state or two
for the first one. even though it would be nice to
have it in MD. hey let the V-8 guys read this.
theres a few of us that are faster then some of
them. once we get a big enough intrest then we'll
start trying to organize somethin. it'd be nice to
have somethin together by late summer. but we'll
see how it goes. so spread the word. lets see how
many V-6s we can get in one location at one time.

Hey Randy, I agree. :)
As for a meet, maybe a West coast and East coast meet would be better. Then people would not have to drive so far. They should hold a show and shine at a drag strip so track times could be done too. All sorts of trophies then. :)
There could be a West coast and East coast competition to see which one has the fastest V6'er for 1/4 mile times. Maybe a National award for fastest trap speed and lowest elapsed time. They could be held at the same time on each coast. Nothing like some friendly competition to make things fun.

then being that i'm on the east coast. i supose i
can take care of this side of the country. Now
what date should we shoot for. sometime later in
the summer but lets try to nail a date down so
then we might be able to draw more people if there
is a solid outline of events.

Thanks Greg.
We could hold it around Labor Day weekend so there would be more time for travel to and from the event. As I work and could not take a week just to have fun with my Dak, this sounds the best. Besides, what better thing to do on Labor Day weekend than to make the old Dak labor down the 1/4 mile. :)

Instead of this being a V-6 meet it should be all the Dakotas including the R/T this way here it would be bragging rights for some of us who spank @$$ on the bigger boys and their toys. I just think it would be a much better event and then maybe the DAMN AFTERMARKET WILL realize there are other Trucks besides FORD AND CHEVY. Granted this just my honest opinion. But beside a 1/4 mile there should be a AUTOCROSS setup for those who like to turn left and right and maybe a something for the 4x4 brothers A mud pit. I know my truck isn't the fastest but i know it can holds its own especially against some of the other brands. JMHO

April 12th at virginia motorsports park, right by
richmond international raceway theres sposed to be
a bunch of daks there. so either there or Cecil CO
dragway, MD. would be a great place for a meet. so
june 7th-8th in the MD VA area. whos in???
