Hey any of you guys know if adjusting the TPS would affect gas mileage. Also is this mod safe, why wouldn't the factory already have it set for the most optimum performance? Mine read about .5 volts from factory so i did the mod by the time i got it tightened down it was at .73 volts so i left it there. It did make a difference, but my idle seems to take longer to come back down after accelerating. I thought it might have been from moving my IAT but i put that back to factory and i need to save all the gas i can! I think that the tornado i put in is blockiing my airflow, but it is helping on gas just slightly. I know everyone said not to waste my money but i wanted to try it, i'm convinced it slows my truck down!!! Guess if you want good gas mileage you have to sacrifice performance!! My autolites seem to work well, they stay cooler. I'm thinking about putting my drop in back instead of my homebrew intake, unless you guys can prove that it runs better with an intake, i just think they are slightly over rated! Thanks for everyones help!

At the very least you can remove the tornado. Does just as much good as those TB spacers do...
