The automatic transmission crapped out on my 98 v6. i am gonna get it fixed under warranty and trade it for a 2000 5 speed extra cab v6. is there anything i should watch for. it has 61000 on it.

I have a 2000 SLT auto, it has a litle over 40,000 miles on it and it is running strong. No problems with it so far.

You'll get better MPG and performance with a v8, like the 4.7, that came in a 2000.

have the same truck only its auto.
tie rod ends,the ignition coil broke down. its 3 years old and im getting into balljoints and breaks. other than that change the oil and put gas in,your good to go.
