93 Dakota 3.7L with homebrew intake
I was driving home today and everything was running fine, and then I put on the brakes and it was really hard to stop. It was as if the power braking system went out. But then, the engine stalled and the check engine light came on. It ended up starting again but I was still having problems with the brakes. Made it home with no problems, pulled the codes and came up with 12 and 13. I know that 12 means battery disconnected lately but I checked out what 13 was and www.obdii.com said that it was a problem with the connection on fuel injector 3. This site http://www.2gnt.com/www/files/pcmcode.htm said "no change in map from start to run, check harness or replace MAP sensor. PLEASE HELP!!! I have a new sales job I'm starting tomorrow and I need my truck.

13-MAP sensor vacuum circuit
This would explain why your brake were not working right it looks like you have a VACUUM LEAK...check your hoses for breaks or maybe one has came off compleatly
