HEllo everyone just stoping by to say hello and hoping i can get some nice help with my truck i just found this website after deciding to update my truck to some nice features.
my truck
2000 Dodge Dakota
V6 3.9L
Automatic
-VERYTHING STOCK in engine
-Added a new Exhaust a less than a week after i got it
-Planning on getting Jet Chip Stage II chip..any comments on that??? performance, i heard gas will have to be premium
-Planning on getting Intake..preferbly metal but wouldnt mind a cold airintake but has to be legal. All the ones i see on Ebay are custom built
-would like to get a new hood something like what is offered in www.ramairhoods.com
-I would like to add the fog lights too and maybe drop it a bit more
-Way in the future
would like to add a super charger, repaint my truck, drop it a few inches, and add some bigger rims cuz all i have is stock :(
but for now this is the stuff i can afford and hopefully in a year i have all this done

oh yeah my when i drive my truck and i want to slow down so a CHP wont see my red lights turn on i put it in neutral and my engine tends to cut off and then well my sterring goes out.. i did this once when i was turning and i will NEVER do that again since i dont want to risk losing control and saying hello to something other than the road
anyone have this with their truck??
i live in Bay area, (east bay) in CALIFORNIA anyone know any good places i can shop for this stuff around here and install it as well just truck upgrades and or accesories..thanks

Sell it and get a V8. You will be starting out with more performance than you will have with all those mods on your V6.

yeah that would be nice thats why im thinking of holding off on most of that.. once i pay off this truck which i got last year.. i have like 4 more years to pay it off..then imthinking of giving it to my father after i pay it off then getting a new V8 or used.. or just get me a Stratus R/T which is what i REALLY want

Welcome to the forum. I found this site in January, shortly after I bought my 96 V-6. You can find some excellent help here, but you also have a good SEARCH mode ( top), where you can review previous posts. Most people here don't use it...........but it can answer a lot of questions.

yeah i saw the search but then again other questions pop up in mind when certain people answer certain ways so then ill probably ask a follow up question then again who knows of those people are still a part of the active forum group
