I've seen clear corner and headlights for the front of a Gen2, but never any taillights. Sorry I can't help.

www.procarparts.com has the front corners/parking lamps. I have them on mine...good quality and mine don't condinsate. The taillights are not made aftermarket in clear or *euro* styles. I have seen someone make them before out of 1/4" clear greenhouse roofing material. They looked OK, but not perfect. I have looked EVERYWHERE on the internet for them, so don't waste your time. Sounds too me that all of us GENII Dakota owners on this forum should all write to APC, Matrix, etc. to see if they would make them. It may just work if we could tally up about 300-400 people (about all of the people who use this forum with GENII's) I would love to have them for my 93.

That kind stuff just pisses me off!!
I saw a damn early 80's Toyota p/u the other day with Altezza style rears, they can make em for a p/u that there may be like 20 left on the road but not Gen1&2 Daks?
Red headed step children is what we are!! lol

I have a GenI. I agree witht the writting to APC, etc about it. If we band together, it will get done. They just have to know were out there.

I'd be willing to be the middle man since I have an acount with them through my business. All we have to do is get everyones email address, name, year kota (genII), and statement all on one document and we could make them a proposal. We could also setup a group buy to garauntee them that we REALLY want that product. The only down-side to the whole thing is that we would have to wait for their *development* team to create them. I have an extra set of Stock tails I could send them for a mold. I'm gonna make a Post with the e-mail address in it to send your info.

Sounds good i would love to get a set of clear tails for my 93 dokota loweerd it down 4in the back and 3 in front looks good roll pan rear bumper welded tailgate and tailgate handle flip.

Sure include me in on this taillight quest. I would also like some nice new composite headlights for my 91 genII. Mine are all UV yellowed from years of parking in the sun. I know the sell them buy I would like some nice headligts with with the perfectly clear lenses like on all new cars. It gets dark here in Indiana and I would like to be able to light up the road better.

Look for the items for a late 80s-early 90s ram p/u. They use the exact tail light assy as the dakota.
