Jdawg, does it commonly do it on colder days like when the engine is still cool (not limited to then)? Like... when you go does it upshift too early then when you get on the gas to make up for it, it downshifts and throws you back into the seat with a sudden burst of power? Mine seems to do that... in fact, I think that's what caused me to wreck the other day. The truck shifted into 2nd gear while I was idling around the cars and out of the parking lot and when I got on the gas to turn and exit it downshifted giving me a sudden burst of power to my wheels and with my front wheels turned that power had nowhere to go except to try and bring itself (and the rest of the rear end) around me.

Got an estimate last weekend... to have it looking like it came out of the factory it's gonna cost around $2300 just from that f%^@^ing sign.... I've let my parents know so once I get it fixed up I'll have the whole truck checked out. I guess it was better to learn that way than having it pull that crap in the middle of a busy intersection.
