i'am looking to buy a set of jba
headers. should i purchase a coated set or stay with
the nic-plated ones? i live in cleveland,oh

The coated ones will help to keep the engine bay temps down but I have the nickle plated ones one my quad cab and love them.

thanks for the reply qckslvrdak. i had gone over old post where lesley had got her headers from ebay,but were not coated.bernd had got coated, since houston gets so hot for so long.i went ahead and put off some other mods to purchase the
coated jba's. as you said will help keep the engine bay cooler.
