k guys, i have a 00 3.9 w/ no performance mods. im thinking of getting some exhaust work done. is this engine capable of putting out some decent sound through the exhaust w/o messing with the cats(i have emissions it has to pass) so what would be the best route. would like it loud but not ricey. would it be easier to keep the stock setup and just swap mufflers, or have a shop redo from the cat back... not sure if i want duals or just keep the stock single out setup... let me know what you guys got and what direction i should head in.. thanks for any help/ insight

I have a 2001 3.9 and all i did was switch out the stock muffler for a borla turbo xl (based on Lesley's reccomendation) i absolutely love it. Its not too loud but its got a nice rumble to it right around 2000 rpm and up so you wont notcie it too much cruising but you can tell its their when you give it.
