Ok, way off the topic but hey.
I've got a 89 mazda that i got for $50.
Its a 4cyl and it ran when i bought it.
$50 not bad considering i could get more for
it if i turned it into the scrap metal place.
But check this.
I knew the alternator was bad in it. But now when i turn the Key, its tottaly dead. Nothing at all happens. So I hooked it up with some jumper cables to my dak and the lights in the mazda would come on but there was no turn over at all still just dead.
The reason I want it to start is because its got posi track rear end and its a 5 speed. I was hoping to take the bed off and get some over sized tires and turn it into a mud/beater truck so my dak wont see any more days stuck as chuck in the middle of the woods.
Any suggesttions besides torchen it?
