I see a lot of you guys using flowmaster's. Is the flowmaster considered to be a performance exhaust system? I know they sound good, they must if everyone is using them. Do they give you any performance gain? I can't decide if i want to put a flow on or go with gibson or borla. I can't seem to find a split dual for my truck, 02 3.9 rc. They have them listed for 4.7's and up. Will i have to get rid of the spare? What is throttle body porting?

I'm pretty sure that flowmaster is by far the most bang for your buck with extreamly good sound. But I am going to start aiming for a Gibson Super Truck exhaust system, I have the feeling that this may run me well over 300$. But it may be worth it. What you can do is what a bunch of my friends did, is go to a local muffler shop and buy the muffler there or order it on-line and get the shop to bend and create your kick ass exhaust system for you. I went to a Minike (spellings off)and with having a muffler already they said duals would run me $150.
