A while back there were several post about white faced gauges and a possible group buy. I actually went to the companies web site and tried to order a white face gauge for my 87 dak that I've modified using a 92 instrament cluster. Haven't herd anything from the company since. My question to my fellow dakers is as such, is there a company out there that makes the instrament cluster for us, or do we have to wait still untill we get 25 people to jump on the group buy. Secondly if this is the case, come on guys, we need to get companies to make products for our daks.

www.speedhut.com, click on the 'Model Development Program', find the 88-96 Dak's in the list and order one! We currently have 11 people, need 9 more to reach 20.

This site has them no need for group buy. Was thinking of getting them but since I dont know what I am doning with my truck I figured I will wait. If you get them let us know how they are.

Dude, someone else on the board got those gauge faces from procarparts.com, and they sound like they are not so great. Here is a link were this whole thing was discussed: http://www.dodgedakota.net/boards/group/252.html
Basically they didn't fit right and he had to make mods to the instrument cluster. Don't cheap out on parts for your ride, man!

Thanks DirtyVicar, I guess those are out of the question. Just trying to help. Buy the way I dont cheap out on parts Its just you make do with what you can get when it comes to the gen I. If its availible and I want it I will spend the money (I just installed A/C because the truck never had it)

Just wanted to make people aware of the speedhut group buy and the direct experience of the guy who got the procarparts ones and his experience. That's the power of the internet!
Us Gen I and Gen II guys have to hang together if we're gonna get the cool stuff too! I've only got 150k on mine, no sense getting rid of it when it's hardly broken in! :)
