Recently i bought a cold air intake on ebay. well needless to say you get what you pay for. I don't think it is a real true cold air intake, but rather just a generic pipe that looks good. I don't even know what kind it is to tell you the truth. Anyways, i put it on, disconnected the battery for about 20 min, and took the flap off from the front grille. Maybe it is my imagination but i think the truck runs worse with the intake on than the factory air box!!! I am extremely disappointed!!!! Would i be better off just putting a K&N drop in filter in instead of the intake and disconnecting the elbow. And if i do that won't water get in? Anyone's input would be greatly appreciated. It is a 2002 3.9 4x2. Thanks
