Has any one ever changed there motor mounts. I was changing my oil, and i looked up and noticed that the rubber on my mount has dry rotted and seperated from the rest of the mount. Is it easy changing them? Do i have to pull the motor? Any help appreciated.

Not hard at all. There are 4 bolt on the motor mount. 3 holding it to the block and one to the frame. Take the one long bolt loose (goes through, has a nut on the opposite side) and pull it out. Now get a good quality floor jack and place a good piece of 2x4 or any wood for that matter on the jack. Now jack the motor up by the side of the oil pan that is on the same side as the broken mount. The wood is there so you dont damage you oil pan. Now take the 3 mount to block bolts loose and remove the mount. Replace it with the new one, lower the jack back down, put in the mount to frame bolt and you are done. Not a hard job at all

Never done them on a Dak but i've replaced them on lots of other cars and trucks. It's usually just 3 or 4 bolts that hold it in. No you don't have to pull the motor just put a block of wood under the oil pan and jack it up a couple inches so the weight is off the mounts.
