Ok, now get out your credit card and listen very closely ;)
15's are very easy in your truck. Your gonna need a mopar performance computer, it is only listed for 92 to 93 3.9l v6's but will work fine on your truck add a 180deg thermostat along with it, along with that add a 95 to 95 318 or 360 v8 tb, no need to change the throttle cabel as in other years, they are v6/v8 generic. Now get a 14in x 3in open element air filter, additionally throw a good high performance muffler on the stock tailpipe. The final mod is gonna be a set of 4:10 rear diff gears with a suregrip since you have an auot , stick with 3.91's for a manuel trans. These mods will have you in the mid 15's no problem in a regular cab

You can tear the motor down, install some high compression pistons, high lift cam and do a little head work, larger valves, etc, that combined with headers, bigger throttle body, bigger injectors and performance computer will get you down into the 14's. Heck i've seen 4 cylinders run low 12's on all motor.

Dodgeboy is right. You should get a Mopar Computer because they kick ass compared to Jet. I am in the same ballpark you are in. I have about all of the mods mentioned and some that aren't. I don't think 15's are out of the question at all.

if you dump the muffler while its still under the
bed it'll resonate in the bed thus making it
louder. so if you want then yeah go ahead. i jst
ran mine straight back. makea nice striahgt pipe
sound. i have a flowmaster delta flow 30 series.
and yes new injectors would also be a good idea

just leave the stock tailpipe on and add a high
flow muffler in place of the stock one, really
dont need to upgrade the exhaust piping till
you get a bit more into the mods. I wouldnt get
injectors quite yet unless you have a high
millage motor that really needs them, you will
see no real performance gain unless your
stock injectors are currently malfunctioning.
However, if you are set on a set of injectors I
have a set of flow matched 19lb FMS injectors
that will work on your truck, I only ran them on
mine for 20 miles or so.

It won't run rich, the computer will compensate for everything, it will just run slightly rich in open loop depending on the injector size. 19's are good stock replacements. I wouldn't plan on doing much to a truck with 128K miles on it, you'll kill the engine before you get it in the low 15's. A good start would be to rebuild the engine and spend some money in there while you have it apart.

Don't get too crazy, though. I was also having to replace basic crap like the fuel pump and the radio and the clutch and stuff like that, too. I ended up selling the truck "as is" and I got nowhere near the money it was worth (based on the parts I put in it).
Just go mild til you get into the 15's and then decide if you wanna get nuts and build a new motor or upgrade to a V-8 or if it's time to buy a new truck.
If I had it to do over again, I'd have saved and built a turbo'd six to go in that same truck. But I couldnt' quit spending money on lil crap to bolt on the old motor.....

hey dodge boy you using my idea for mods? it is possible to go 15's all motor i did it in a x-cab
95 x-cab v6 auto v8 tb, k&n, 180 t'stat, 4.10 gears, underdrive crank pulley, mopar pcm, no cat, flowmaster, msd coil and wires. that's the bulk of my mods, plus a few other nick nack stuff, like that it went 15.90 @ 84 with a 70 shot with NO bottle pressure it went 15.20 @ 90. with good pressure it will run high 14's. my tranny is gettin rebuilt with 2200 stall, and shift kit, it should run mid 14's on spray
