I could be very will wrong but it doesn't seem to be any more of a diffrence than stance, tire size, wheels, and mabey a few accesories

I have a sport model and the only difference I could think of is the exterior appearance. I sure don't have power locks or power windows.
97 Sport 3.9 V6 White Club Cab, Autolite 3923's, Borg Warner Brass Cap & Rotor. Doing Mods alittle at a time.

Trim package SLT. SLT has chrome bumpers, grill, slt badge, and chrome side molding.
Trim package, Sport. Black bumpers, color match grill, color match trim, no badge.
All other stuff is option on both trucks. Even the suspension.

I have the 98 Sports Ext Cab V6 auto. The sway bar stops the truck from leaning in a curve. I also added a Hellwig sway bar in the rear. Really helps the cornering.

Ok, so the sport model would corner a little better since it has the longer sway bar, right?

From what i've seen for the SLT trim package all of the above is true in addition to it coming standard with power windows locks and mirors.
This is too the best of my knowledge.
