 Subject: Speakers

I know you must have heard this one a million times, but I have a 2000 Dak club cab with the infinidy sound system. Its not going to be in there for much longer so I was woundering if you guys knew the speaker size all around. Al that I know is that the front doors have 6 1/2. The rest I'm not sure of. Any help would be much appreaciated.

I have a 99 and mine had 6.5s in the front and back. You could also look in crutchfields and it would be able to tell you. Hope I helped.

just so you know, your infinity sound system internally amplified, it's gonna be a real b#$%@ to replace the speakers, my bro has a '97 grand cherokee with the same speakers...and your speakers are 6 and 1/2 all the way around like the other guys said...hope this helps

Hey viperdak6, your saying that there is an amplifer that is somewhere in my truck. So should I just run all new speaker wires?

yes, running new speaker wires is probably the easiest solution...if you have any other probs, just post and i'll keep an eye on this and reply...or you can send me an e-mail or two...

the amplifier is mounted under the carpet, under the driver seat if i'm not mistaken, that's why it's easier to just run the new wires, and i've tried to use aftermarket speakers don't work with that stupid amplifier, can't figure out why, i've asked around and it seems to be a mysetery, so again, just run the new wires :)
