 Subject: Speed limiter question?

I was driving to work this morning and as I was going down one of our bridges here in town I was'nt paying attention and low and behold I was doing 102 MPH. My question is I thought that my 2000 Dak w/3.9 was limited to 90 something? Was I getting the speedo up to 102ish due to the incline of the bridge, hmmmm.

mine stops at 112, thought it was 120 but i was goin down a hill, flat ground mine stops at 112, i have 97' RC 3.9

i have a 00' and i can get her to 115 before mine
kicks in. its a 5spd RC. the spedo goes to 120 but
its shuts off shortly before it.

Yeah i've hit mine quite a few times and i think that mine was about 117mph, luckly no speeding tickets in the dak.

On flat ground i could only get my 94 to 106 but down a hill i had it peged past the 110. Where there even limiters on the older models?
