 Subject: power increase argument

Hey guys, I have a 2000 Dak V6 and it has about come to he time for me to do some work to it. There is a small list of stuff that I want to do persormance wise and my friend (a ford man)is convinced that it is not going to make a diffrence at all. I'm starting to think that he would just be jelious, but heres what I want to do:
Jet throtle body spacer, intake, underdrive pully, roller rockers 1.6 or 1.7 (not sure about), JAB headers, Flowmaster exhause, and plugs and wires
Now someone tell me that that is not going to make a diffrence. Thanks for your time

Spacer: Junk
Intake: good
UnderDrive Pully: good
Crower 1.7 RR's: good 2500+ rpm
Headers: Not a big help for the V6, remember it already has the same pipe & muffler as the V8's
Muffler: good, something full flow, again Cat-Back not needed.
Plugs & Wires: Only if your do for a tune up
Something you didn't post was a Throttle Body !!!
A V8 TB or F&B 48mm will be the best money you can spend for the V6

and after all that if you wanna make sur eyou take
him off the line drop some bigger gears in the
rear end. 3.90s will work great. if you gota na
auot you might even think about the 4.10s and a
lsd.

I think you got it about wrapped up. Just do the v8 throttle body, and you have it liked.
A few other piddly things. Relocate the IAT to your intake.
Can he still put the FMS injectors in a 2000?? Or is he Des.III already??

For 2000, he will need the FMS XL2E injectors.

Yeah the throttle body spacers are a rip off, everything else is good, just don't go crazy with real expensive wires and plugs. A high performance computer chip will also give you good performance for the money.
Or you could skip those mods and save up for a supercharger :)

LSD = Limted Slip Differential. goes from the one
wheel spin to the solid two wheels. so you don't
look as dumb when your burning out.
