Well it took me all morning but napa finally had a brass contact distributer and rotor for my V6, it was an echlin. Now I need plug wires though. The only thing I can find here locally are accels that you make yourself. I really don't want to go this route, where can I get a custom set of 8mm or 8.5mm aftermarket wires on the net. Thanks

I got the accel wires where you have to put the boot on the ends, its really pretty easy. If you want to buy a custom set try TruckPerformance or SinCityRT's website He has a huge aftermarket parts listing. Hope this helps.

If you have a late model V6, MSD sells a set of custom Superconductor plug wires...#32969. I bought the universal V8 set...#31189... so that I could cut them to the length that I wanted and have a spare or two in case I needed one.

I bought a set of JBA Power Cables for my V6 from truckperformance.com. Took about a week to get them delivered (I live on the east coast and they ship from CA), and I installed them with no problems. The butt dyno says the truck likes the new brass cap and rotor, Echlin from Napa, the Autolite 3923's and the JBA's. I also cleaned the TB while I was doing the plugs and wires since it made access to the cap a little easier.

I got the Champion 8mm Truck Accessory wires when I got all the other stuff (3923's, brass cap rotor). I have noticed on the first tank that I was getting better milage plus it runs great!
