I just want to introduce myself to this wonderful board.
I just bought a 1998 Dakota 4x4 regular cab, 3.9 V6/auto, Intense Blue, on Tuesday. I love this truck!
I have been visiting this board daily and am dying to try a few mods to get better power AND mileage. I have already bought the #3923 Autolite plugs, but I haven't put them in yet. Tomorrow it will get a set of BFG All-Terrain TA/KO's.
I want to get a set of factory fender flares, but the dealer wants to soak me $400+ for them already painted- anyone know where to get them cheaper?
As far as my background goes, I am in New Ulm, Minnesota and I manage a tire/repair shop in Mankato, MN. I am a SERIOUS Mopar freak. I am currently restoring a Plum Crazy purple 1970 Challenger RT/SE, 383/4 speed, and a 1971 Road Runner, Sno-White, 340/auto (will get a 4" stroker crank for 416 cubes).
I hope to learn alot from the knowledgeable people here!

WELCOME! you'll find this site plenty useful. can
get almost any question answered. thoso are some
nice cars. wish i could have found one in my prive
range when i was lookin for a car to rebuild. all
i could find was a 67 mustang. so my love for cars
in general over took my dedication to mopar. the
truck is still my #1 though.

Ask around on this site about those fender flares. I've seen a few people selling theirs, I don't remember who and I don't know if they're sold yet. But you'll probably get decent prices here.
