for us MD dak owners....anyone know of any good
reliable shops in our area? i'm looking into
getting new gears, since the stroker kit is gonna
be a lil more than i got right now, but i have no
idea how to install gears (yet). so it needs to be
doen for me. has any onehad any experience with
any good shops in our area? thanks.

just had some gears and a suregrip put in a few weeks ago..hands down th best shop for this in the region is chesapeake transmissions. www.chesapeaketransmission.com

to go back up to the track not this friday but the
next. its the 8th. hopefully i'll get up there a
lil ealier and be able to get some runs in.

175 for labor.. I supplied all the parts. I had them put in a set of 3.90 gears and a dana trac lock

how you likin the 3.90s and whats the part # on
the locker? good price now just a matter of which
gears.....3.90 or 4.10 you got a gen3 right?

who makes the gears? and its a full locker right>
not an lsd. prices and where'd you buy em. i've
been doin alot of searching today. but i figure
i'll ask you since you got em done.

heh...
1. I have a gen 2
2. I got all my parts from 4wheelpartswholesalers.com, but you can ge them through the shop, or from the same place they buy them from. www.ring-pinion.com
3. If you have a 5speed 3.90's are plenty, if you have an auto go 4.10's
4. Its a lsd not a locker, ya really dont want a locker for everyday use, the lsd works fine.
5. They did it in like 2 hours
