How do you remove the throttle valve cable from the fire wall. I am going to swap out the V6 TB with a V8 TB this weekend. The cable at the firewall is the only thing that has me puzzled. Thanks

The end of the throttle cable that hooks up to the TB is different.

The throttle cables snaps into place on the firewall. From inside the cab, use a pliers to pinch the ends so that it backs out.

The V6 TB has a ball type linkage whereas the V8 TB has a disc type linkage. That's the reason it's necessary to swap the cables.
