Sup Sic, I thought this was a good thread to respond to, I get my money from my mods, from myself and my wife. My 87 Project truck is my only vice, My wife helps me get the work done, so that I can help her save for a BMW. It's a great deal. I live in Italy, cuz I'm in the Navy, and I go to school. After all of the household bills are paid, the left over money goes to the Dak. Currently I have a Magnum Intake, and V8 Tb, I'm in the process of actually buying another Magnum truck to gut and put the Magnum V6 in. I'll keep you posted. Just got it back from the paint and Body shop, it looks Brand new. Waiting on the rims to get over here next.

Work 1 job, I pay 450 a month on truck payment, 170 a month goes towards insurance on 3 rides, about 350 a month towards credit cards, 50 for cell, 50 for storage, live at home. So I really dont have money for mods, but I usually bought them on credit :( Not such a good idea and I am paying for them monthly.

Well, I am single, and pay the mortgage and renovations on a 90 year old house, which doesn't leave a lot left over for extras. My truck is paid for and I have a good job at the local newspaper (graphics and layout, in charge of auto tabloid). I'm pretty good at scouring ebay and sniffing out good bargains.

I'm 23, have LOTS of bills, and not much left for mods. It's a slow process, but what fun would it be if you could do it all at once?
I've been out of the house since 17, so that's nothing new, but 2 years ago I inherited all of the bills that come along with being married, including her school loans. All in all though, I wouldn't change nada. Just wait until next year when my truck is payed off. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

im 17, i detail cars on the weekends and make between $20-$30 an hour depending on how rich the guy is who's car i detail. my parents bought me the dakota when i turned 16. all i pay for is gas so the little money i make all goes toward my truck. i also spend most of my time studying and playing basketball and get excellent grades so no one can call me spoiled, i just dont have the time to get a more reliable job and make more money on my own.

Unfortuantely no money has been going to mods. Took on a little to much in the last couple of years to have much spending money left over. Next year if the holiday trailer sells I can get rid of that payment and the house will be fixed up (hopfully). I will have more free money around. Had to put the bug deflector, that I bought today, on account so I could pay next month.:)

Hey MoparMan, What's up, I didn't get the email that you sent me. If you could send me that info again, I'd be willing to take on the hybrid project. It actually sounds like a lot of fun to me. I know the actual block on the Magnums and Premagnums are the same. I think it is the internals that are different. Either way I think it will be a fun project, and having you as a guide diffently will help. I'll shoot you an email later.

I live "at home" with my wife, a 16 year old and a with keys to the family van and is attending the best private school in the state (they are state champs in football, swimming tennis and water polo, 6th in soccor and just made it to the state playoffs in football again) a college grad son that just got his first real, after college (U Dayton) job and is saving for a downpayment on a house, and am putting a daughter through Boston University. I make all my money in a tool&die shop and get money for mods from being a gigalo, which probably explains why I only have vent shades, a cheap cb radio and a home brew intake, with a hardware screen insert behind the grill to keep stone from damaging the A/C condensor, the first one cost me $650 to replace and get recharged. Yeah I have to pay a housepayment instead of rent, anybody want to trade a housepayment for what you pay in rent for a month? And I pay most of the bills around here, and my sweety works in a Munincipal Financial Director's office. My live-at-home-college-son pays rent, plus the cable bill (includes a cable modem, I am sooo lucky) and also helps with the electric bill as he has 6 computers running in his room right now (I know not why 6) and a 42 inch large screen tv. He owns a Dodge Intrepid, yeah I know, I brought him up right, and is paying down his college loan debt at a very fast rate. As a family we own 4 Dodge/Chrysler products. I have owned a total of 8 Mopars, keeping most of them till the wheels fall off, the van has 218,000 on it and still blows no smoke.
