This has not been a good day...

Had to get up early to eat, so there would be two hours between eating and going to the doctor, where they started poking me with needles. Not a big problem there, not a lot of fun though.

Then I went to work, and showed up 10 minutes late. Yay, hello Boss. No, your clock is fast. Was swamped there, got a headache, and nothing accomplished (except making three pissed off people not so pissed off). To top it off, its pay day and I didn't get paid. I could really use some money, you know?

Get out of work an hour late, and head to pick up a friend of mine to go see a movie. Getting ready to turn into the parking lot when, "SCREEECH! BANG!"

Some idiot in an old Chevy rear-ends me! GAH! CRAP! I just _had_ the truck fixed! (Peeling front rim and broken fog-lamp). Not a whole lot of apparent damage, but the impact threw the truck foreward about 10 feet. He drives off before I get his drivers license, plate, and the like. I did get his name and number though, so I gave that to the cop who showed up an hour later, plus his description. I don't know how bad his truck was, it was pretty beat up already. I figure he didn't have insurance.

Ok... no movie, we just missed it.

DARNIT

I'm just going to go to bed. I've had enough of today, hopefully it'll be tomarrow when I wake up!

Dumbass hit my baby! That just pissed me off... like, what? My brake lights work! I checked! Was he blind? Dumbass...

I had a day like that about 8 months ago. Got rear ended at a light by a ferd escort. I was on my way to a job interview. I still got the job, and the owner actually had insurance (surprise surprise). Hope everything works out for you.

I know how your're feel.

I went up to a buddies apartment in london for the night, and didn't realize that the passenger door had been hit until I got home (which happens to be just over an hour away)the next day.
I had to go back to london for the accident report, and pictures. To top it all off I also had to pay the deductible, because there were no witnesses present. And about six months before this it was stolen, with my rm 250 dirt bike. I got it all back, but it took for ever.

For anyone out there that doesn't have rental coverage on your insurance package-- Get it. My truck was in the shop for a month and a half. It onlt cost me like $30.00 for the coverage, but the bill for the rental was well over $1500.00 (i had a dodge ram extend-a-cab 4x4 loaded for the whole time)
oh ya, go to enteprise rent-a-car if its avaliable in your area- they are the only ones who will give you a car before 72 hours.
And no I don't work there- just giving anyone who might need the heads up.

Talk about some bad luck.

Yeah he is right. Enteprise is a really good company. I had a 01 Extended Cab Dodge Ram 4x2 w/ the 5.9 (360) V-8. I had to have it for 3 weeks when my baby got rear ended by some jackass 79 year old geaser. OH Well, what you going to do. I guess the old man couldn't see that i had stoped. He did a total of $1500 in damage. The truck was free, the insurence payed for that.

I got rear-ended anonymously last winter, I felt sick when I saw it. New bumper, body work, paint, and undercoating. $1600, and I had to pay the deductible. I got it done at the local Nissan dealership because they have an awesome body shop, my insurance company likes them, and I have a friend who works there. They gave me a brand new Altima for 3 days while it was in there.
Hey Adam, I bought my truck in London.

well... y'all want the biggest pisser story of life...

got my truck october 17,1997 and had it about a month before i took it to the movies to watch the opening of Tit-anic... well, lets just say that some nice Miami driver decided to use the rear passenger wheelwell as his personal bumper (cost... $180).

next, on my last day of high school, some fat chick opens up the door to her civic and BAM! right into the passenger door knocking a chunk of paint and metal off the door(cost... $5 for touch up paint... still looks nasty).

went to my cousin's soccer game... came back... nice little dent, scratch, and a broken "Magnum V6" badge on the passenger side (cost... $180 plus badge... $12)

went to eat at TGIFriday's with my fraternity brothers. came back to my car, found it with a bee bee gun bullet hole on the driver's side door. don't know who put it there (cost... $180, plus Dakota Sport emblems on drivers side door, $8 and $6)

and here's the kicker... i've never been in the car when its been hit... the closest i came was when the fat chick peeled out after she saw me coming towards her when she hit the passenger side door...

disgruntled...
