has anyone gone through oem brakes like candy? i dont consider myself hard on the brakes and do mostly highway driving so i dont see why ive gone through pads and rotors after only 4k does anyone else have theis problem with stock parts and whats a good aftermarket brand you have used and liked

Sounds like to me is your rear brakes are NOT doing there job and your front brakes are doing all the braking. Like your rear brakes need to be adjusted up or your not getting brake pressure to the rear.
Or your front brakes may not be disengaging all the way causing your brake pads to rub your rotors just enough to ware them even going down the road without getting smoking HOT! "Maybe"
That's my guess
