Subject: Tail lights are out

Message:
Last night my tail lights went out on my 2001. Headlights, brakes, and turn signals work. I check my fuses and they appear to be good. Any thoughts? Might it be the headlight switch it self or is there are relay somewhere in between the front and rear????? Thanks for any suggestions.

I had the same problem. If I wasn't on a business trip I would go and look at what was fixed to correct the problem, but I had to take in it to the dealer to get it fixed under warranty. No problems since.

A fuse was blown but that was because they found a wire behind the hood release handle that was worn and grounded out.
