The "round one" is called the Chrysler 8.25". The gears you have now are printed on the label affixed to the inside of your glove box. It gives you a few specs. You'll see it in there. You'll either have 3.55 ratio or the 3.92. My bets are that you have 3.55, but you never know. When I finally found where to look I was very excited to see 3.92! Even though those are nice, I'm putting in 4.56 gearing front and back along with limnited slip front and back so accompany my 33" tires =) Can't wait! Hope I helped.

Your front axle is a Dana 35.
Good sites on find gears and which ones would work best for you are:
www.reiderracing.com
www.drivetrain.com
www.ring-pinion.com

They have calculators to see what rpms you'll be turning with a certian gear and tire combo. Also the gears you will need for the front diff are a reverse profile and need to match the rears.
