 Subject: RPM Surge at 700 when slowing down.

Hey, I'm just got my first truck....Dak, V6, 3.9, 2WD, CC and I noticed a little something that I'm wondering if it's normal. As I'm slowing down ready to come to a complete stop - when I get to about 700 RPMs - there is a slight jump. The RPMS surge back up to about 1000-1200 and you can feel it a bit. Is this normal? Anyone else out there notice this too?
