my 2001 3.9 have a problem when i hit 3000 rpms it starts to run crappy,could it be the plugs are shot?i have 21000 miles on engine.

It's probably not caused by the plugs, but what ever is causing the problem probably will leave evidence on the plugs. Pull them out and tell us what you see.

i was thinking maybe a bad fuel inj,it was at dealer in may,had 3 02 sencers replaced,and my 4 wheel drive went out,and only 20000 miles on her!

my 00 did the same thing but at 2k rpm's and also backfired just a little it wasd because of bad gas that stopped up 1 injector ..hope this helps maybe check the codes and see which cylinder is having the problem and take out the injector and clean it.. don't replace them unless you have to because they are $75 each lol been there and done that already

well whent to dealer today,but before i did i toke off my home brew intake,it has a K&N 9 inch filter,and put stock stuff back onafter they checked it they said they could not find anything wrong?he showed me his computer that was hooked up to the truck,so i hit the gas and it ran fine.so could it be that the homebrew was sucking too much air?
