I hung mine off the side of my third floor balcony by stepping on one end. Then I stomped on the other until it was bent.

Not really scientific, but hey, it worked...

look at speedtweaks site. The oem airhat holddown blocks your tb ports, this allows "better airflow"

N8,

Yes! You do! Something to do with the gravity flux caused by the orbit of the moon on a Sunday in March.

Uuuugh... I'm going to bed. 2 hours of sleep in 3 days is killing me...

I did mine in a vice with some wood in the jaws to protect the threads on the rod. Didn't really notice anything after changing it out though.

I did mine when I swapped throttle bodys. So who knows what it really did. I had the stuff around the house, it took me a whole 15 min maybe to make it. So IMO, it was worth it.

I went to speed tweaks and all they had was some measurements for a bolt. I want to know exactly where I'm bending and why.

Right, get some all thread, cut and bend it. The hole in the tb is not directly below the hole (center) of the tb hat, that is why you must bend. If you take your tb hat off, and look at the bracket that dodge put on, it somewhat restricts air from entering the engine. It is even worse if you have a v8, or v8 tb. Thats what the mod is about, and why you must bend. If your scared, or see no point in it, dont't do it. Its not a HUGE increase in power. Just a little something like removing that flap from behind the grill.

That little flap behind the grill has been annoying me ever since I saw it. I assume I'm not the only one who has removed it.

I know your not, mines gone, and prob so are quite a few others. I guess its to attempt to put more air to the radiator?? I think the fan pulls enough, and I would rather have air in my engine compartment, then pushed away.

Only thing preventing me from pulling that flap off is the amount of rain coming in through the front. The way I see it, less water my air intake sucks in, the better.
