Matt it's all about what pleases you. A million people could give you a million different setups on your budget but what it all comes down to is what do you want?.

Read on to see what others have added and check out the pics and build it.

i would first decide whats more important...serious power or serious looks to impress chicks. i am also 17 and realized that since i have the 3.9 i would spend my small amount of cash on looks. it takes some serious dough to make your 3.9 a serious performer, although it is possible. my exterior of my dak is almost complete now and im starting to look more at performance stuff, only because their isnt much left for me to do on the outside, besides lower it. thats what i chose to do so i would recommend you pick one theme and go all out, otherwise your dak will end up looking ok and performing ok. but that may be ok with you

Good start on mods, with one major problem. If you get a hood with functional scoops, your cold air induction to me would be kinda pointless. IMO, I would go with the cold air induction, and leave a smooth hood. I like making a truck look flat and smooth as can be. Other then that contradiction, I think your along the right lines. Looks is all up to you, but to get performance, its all about the same.
