Hi All,

I was interested in the Accel 300+ Ignition system. I like the plug and play concept. I also believe they have a CARB cert is pending. Does anyone have this system? Any noticible improvements over stock? MPG? Is it worth getting for $315? Thanks in advance.

Thats some interesting questions that I would like to know the answer to myself!

I will say that just replacing my stock ignition coil with an Acell didn't really do a lot. It smoothed the idle a bit, but not a lot. I'm glad I got it though, ignition is considered an important thing to upgrade if your doing other things.

Sorry I can't help with your original question though.

Hi all,

I know this is an old thread but I thought more dak owners might have tried Accel 300+ ignition system by now. Anyone notice any improvements in power?MPG? I saw that Jeg's prices came down to about $249. Thanks again in advance.

The only things it will do is MAYBE change how the advance is controlled. You won't save enought gas to pay for it in 10 years prolly.
