Does anybody know which out of these two mufflers is the quietest: dynomax 17748/9 or the 17738?
I am waiting to order mine, but I don't want it to be loud in the cab. I know these two are quieter than the flowmaster, so I rulled that one out.

Oh yah, I finally ordered my 5.2 throttle body for my V6. Now it's like being a kid in a candy store waiting in a long line to pay for your candy and your mother telling you not to open it yet. I am waiting on UPS. It's supposed to be here Thrusday the 29th.
Just my 2cents: it would have been better to pay the extra 5 bucks to get it here 2 days sooner!

17738 is listed (at Summit) as a 84-91 Corvette muffler, if it's anything like the 17733 that I tried it would be louder than the 17748
17748/9 are the same muffler just the outlets are spaced different.

I'm using the 17748, and it doesn't rattle yer cage at all. Nice low tone, imo.
