What size do you guys think would look better on a stock height dak sport with 17" RT rims? a 255/40R17 or a 245/45R17? also would the 255 be substantially wider than the 245 or just a little wider?

i would do the stock RT size (255/55/17) the 255 is 10mm wider than the 245.

Thanx kota, i was thinkin the 40 series cause im thinking of a 2/3 drop after the first of the year and dont want to have to worry about tire rub. Do you think it would with the 40's and a 2/3? or would the 55's be ok?

well the RT's come with a 1" drop, and they still have plenty of room, so you should be fine.

why not do a 2/3 drop and use a 255/50/17?

yeah that sounds like a good idea, might just get the 255/50's and buy a used rt suspension for the extra 1 inch, i dont really want it real low just a little.
