 Subject: water pump swap

I am going to replace my water pump/fan clutch/
and probably throw in a R.S. 180 degree T-Stat
while I have the truck apart. My W. pump froze.
My question is, has anyone replaced their pump
before?, any tips and/or problems you ran into
just to give me a "heads up". Thanks in advance.

Well, not having done it on mine either, about the only thing I can offer is this...
A) Drain the coolant system -FIRST-.
B) Don't drop it on your foot!
That said, it should be fairly straightforward. I think I remember something about the Dodge Pumps coming apart in two pieces? So, er, don't be surprised. :0)
